In 1964, the Diocese of Travancore & Cochin separated itself from the Church of South India to protect the traditional Anglican faith. And in 1991, it lead other similar Anglican dioceses in India to form the Anglican Church of India.
Currently ACI has 20 Dioceses, spread over 16 Indian states and in the USA.
The Holy Bible is the ultimate source of faith and order of the Church.
We uphold the Apostles', Nicene and Athanasian Creed.
We practice only two sacraments - the Holy Eucharist & the Holy Baptism - which are instituted by Christ himself. We believe that Christ is the giver of Baptism by Holy Spirit.
We believe in the historic Episcopacy which was initiated by Christ himself.
Kindly continue your prayers for the further growth and expansion of Anglican Church of India. And support us for our missionary works in India. We are engaged in building Churches, cemeteries, spreading the Word of God by doing mission works in parts of India where Christianity has not reached yet, and among the underprivileged societies and communities.
